There are certain similarities to BKFC 41 in as far as like some of the combatants on each card. How does this compare to the last timeout in terms of I guess magnitude because like you said I mean could very well argue this is the biggest event ever for BKFC
“I feel like they’re definitely the two biggest. Mike Perry’s leading the way. He’s doing a great job kind of being the face of bare-knuckle and he’s just got a great fan base. Just action, he’s funny, he’s got a lot going for him. He’s got a lot of fans coming to BKFC to watch him and you bring in Eddie Alvarez to the mix. That last card, the main and the co-main event were stellular. Now they took the two winners and they put them together as a main event. So I think you just got two superstars going at it.”
“I personally like both guys, it’s hard for me to have thoughts on the fight because I just wish them both the best. Like I’m rooting for both of them and I know the fans are going to win in the fight. It’s going to be a hell of a fight, it’s going to be exciting. But I just don’t want anything to do with picking a winner. Just letting you know but the better man that night’s going to win. I’m going to be happy for both guys that are going out and making some money. They’re going to put on a great fight for the fans and I get to be the co-main event.”

Ben Rothwell continued, “I’m fighting with Todd Duffee, another name heavyweight. I think people are excited to see it. Todd’s had some ups and downs but a lot of his stuff has come from getting kind of laid on the ground in MMA and things like that. There’s none of that, this is straight-up striking. Just using our bare knuckles and I think it’s gonna be a very exciting fight. He’s calling for the fight of the night, I have different plans. So we’ll see what happens.”
I feel like I know what you’re probably intimating there but what are your different plans here at BKFC 56?
“Well, fight of the night sounds like something that’s gonna go five rounds or something that’s gonna be just a battle. I’m not there to battle. I know what I need to do and when I do it, it’s gonna be one-sided. So that’s my intentions.”
