Official Result: Benoit Saint-Denis def. Ismael Bonfim via submission (rear naked choke) at 4:48 of round one
Saint-Denis comes out throwing some heavy body kicks to begin the bout, and he doesn’t stop slamming them into the midsection of Bonfim for the first two or so minutes. Bonfim is throwing back heavy leather, but gets taken down in the process.
Saint-Denis ends up taking Bonfim’s back, where he eventually secures the body triangle, and the rear naked choke finish, picking up his third-straight victory while snapping Bonfim’s 13-fight win streak in doing so.
