Billy Quarantillo booked to return at UFC Nashville against Damon Jackson
Billy Quarantillo is set to return to the Octagon in August.
Quarantillo announced on his OnlyFans that he is set to return on August 5 at UFC Nashville against Damon Jackson. The fight has been agreed to and is expected to be finalized in the coming days.
Billy Quarantillo (17-5) is coming off a first-round knockout loss to Edson Barboza in the co-main event of UFC Kansas City in April. Prior to that, ‘Billy Q’ picked up a TKO win over Alexander Hernandez at UFC 282 to return to the win column after losing by decision to Shane Burgos.
Quarantillo is 5-3 in the UFC and started out his UFC tenure 3-0 with wins over Jacob Kilburn by submission, Spike Carlyle by decision, and Kyle Nelson by KO. However, since then he has gone 2-3 with the other loss coming to Gavin Tucker by decision.
Damon Jackson (22-5-1 and one No Contest) suffered a second-round KO loss to Dan Ige in the co-main event UFC Vegas 67 back in January. The loss to Ige snapped his four-fight win streak as he beat Pat Sabatini by first-round TKO, Daniel Argueta by decision, Kamuela Kirk by submission, and Charles Rosa by decision.
This is Jackson’s second stint in the UFC and is 5-3-1 and one No Contest in the UFC with his other win coming over Mirsad Bektic.
