BKFC strips welterweight champion Gorjan Slaveski of title
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) has stripped welterweight world champion Gorjan Slaveski of his title, it was announced today.
“Unfortunately, Gorjan accepted a fight outside the organization without our approval which resulted in BKFC stripping him of his welterweight title,” stated BKFC President and Founder David Feldman. “We will have a further announcement forthcoming about the now vacant welterweight title.”
‘GoGo’ Slaveski compiled a record of 6-0 fighting under the BKFC banner, winning the world title by defeating Jake Lindsey at BKFC-49 on August 25, 2023.
According to Tapology, Slaveski is slated to face Brandon Jenkins at Karate Combat 43 on Dec. 15.
