Bobby Green puts on clinic against Nasrat Haqparast at UFC 271
UFC returns to Houston with a thrilling middleweight championship rematch that will see champion Israel Adesanya run it back with No. 1 contender Robert Whittaker in the UFC 271 main event. Adesanya defeated Whittaker via second-round TKO at UFC 243 on Oct. 6, 2019. Adesanya is a -305 favourite heading into the bout.
Derrick Lewis and Tai Tuivasa will clash in the co-main event in a heavyweight contest between two hard-hitting titans. Lewis is a -170 favourite to win.
Before we get to all that, in this highlighted recap Bobby Green will return against Nasrat Haqparast on the main card.
Bobby Green (28-12) returns coming off one of the biggest victories of his exclusive career, a first-round TKO over former lightweight title challenger Al Iaquinta last November at UFC 268, which ended a two-fight losing streak.
Nasrat Haqparast (13-4), is coming off a loss to Dan Hooker at UFC 266. Haqparast will look to get back into the win column and most importantly get the momentum moving forward again.

ROUND 1:
Referee in charge, Mike Beltran. Green comes out with his hands down and stalking Haqparast against the cage. Haqparast staying patient, still yet to throw anything meaningful. A couple eye pokes in round one, 1 each. Haqparast chopping down the legs of Green. Green had a evident speed advantage. Haqparast investing in the calf kicks meanwhile Green staying technical with the jab. Round comes to a end, Haqparast walks back to his corner with a bloodied-up nose.

ROUND 2:
Green comes up and comes up with three jabs back-to-back. Haqparast needs to move his head, staying in the line of fire. The boxing of Green is beautiful to watch, really putting on a show with the hands. Haqparast just sitting in front of Green, just freezing up. And on cue Haqparast is opening up more. At the end of the round both guys find the mark, what a fight. AS ADVERTISED.

ROUND 3:
Round two was much better from Haqparast, but still not enough. A big round three is needed for Haqparast. Bobby Green tips to the body, he’s on full flow. Green is making Haqparast miss and making him pay with the counters. Haqparast just struggling to land anything significant. A true masterpiece from Green on the feet, perfection with the hands from start to finish. That’s a wrap, Bobby Green looking as good as ever.
