Boxing fan knocked unconscious in brawl during Vergil Ortiz Jr. bout
One unlucky boxing fan had to watch the outcome of the Vergil Ortiz Jr. Vs. Serhii Bohachuk bout from a wheelchair after he was knocked out cold at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
The man, who was in attendance at this weekend’s boxing event, was involved in a brawl with another man was he was dropped with a vicious punch.
According to boxing reporter Francisco A. Salazar, the punch was indeed a knockout blow, and the fallen fan was down for some period of time. He was later transported out of the area via wheelchair, with others in the audience applauding.

Ortiz Jr. won the fight via majority decision (114-112×2, 113-113) to become the new interim WBC super welterweight champion.
