Bubba Jenkins talks PFL Playoffs, wrestling career, Cael Sanderson and more
Bubba Jenkins has found himself back in a great position.
Later this month on Aug. 20, Jenkins will make the journey from Las Vegas to London to compete in a featherweight semi-final at PFL Playoff 3 against Ryoji Kudo.
This marks the second straight playoff appearance for Jenkins as he made the playoffs last season, but fell to Chris Wade in the semi-finals. Wade also qualified for this years playoffs and will fight in the other semi-final on the same fight card as Jenkins.
For Jenkins he’s fully aware that there’s a good possibility he could be running into Wade yet again, but right now his main focus is Kudo and doing whatever is possible in order to be crowned champion and walk away with a one million dollar pay day.
Prior to the fight the Jenkins spoke with MyMMANews about his upcoming fight, the PFL playoffs and his training for the fight.
Jenkins also discussed his standout wrestling career in which Jenkins wrestled at Arizona State and won a national championship over David Taylor. Prior to that, Jenkins wrestled at Penn State where he was a two-national runner up.
You can watch his full interview in the video above.
