Bubba Jenkins: I didn’t really train for Elias
Bubba Jenkins will join the ranks at the featherweight division of Brave Combat Federation during Brave 16 hosted on 21st September at Abu Dhabi, UAE. The 2011 NCAA Division 1 champion will contest for the featherweight championship against the reigning champion, Elias Boudegzdame. While everyone expect the contender to train to face the champion, the latest response from Bubba shocked his fans. The superstar who trains at Blackhouse MMA seems to have got the number of the submission expert from Algeria who victimised 9 of his opponents throughout his career to triangle choke submissions.
The champion who is currently training at La Bonne Ecole in Montpellier, France will defend his championship for the second time against Bubba Jenkins. However Jenkins came down hard upon the champion. In the first place, Jenkins made it clear that his sights are set beyond the bout and a Elias is not even the target but a landmark towards his destination. “I have knowledge about the game, in and out. I didn’t really train for Elias. I trained to be the best Bubba I can be. He is not the centre of attention”, said Jenkins.
“I need that bully lunch money. He will face something he have never faced before. I will tell Elias to bring me my belt and my lunch money. I will just take him down and get what I want from him robbery style real bully style. I am gonna end this dude up”, added Jenkins.
