Cage Warriors announces four champs to fight in September triple-header
Cage Warriors is continuing to update everyone on their process of returning to action. Recently, the European promotion announced that they will return with a triple-header of fights scheduled for Sept. 24,25 and 26. Now they’re starting to announce fighters who will be featured on the cards.
The promotion has confirmed that newly-crowned lightweight champion Mason Jones, bantamweight champ Jack Cartwright, middleweight belt-holder Nathias Frederick and flyweight champion Samir Faiddine will all be in action across the three-days.
“We’ve pulled off big events before, but this is something else entirely,” Cage Warriors president Graham Boylan said in a press release to MMA Junkie. “All our biggest names across one weekend. We’re leaving no stone unturned.”
Aside from the champions, Cage Warriors also announced former featherweight champion Paddy Pimblett, rising French star Morgan Charriere and former middleweight champion James Webb will be returning to action during the course of the three days.
“It’s taken a lot of planning, but we’re ready to get back on the road,” said Boylan. “We’re back to doing what we do best, and that’s showcasing Europe’s best talent and providing the proven pathway to the top.”
Cage Warriors 114, 115 and 116 will be held at the BEC Arena in Manchester. All three events will stream live on UFC Fight Pass.
