Cage Warriors makes return official; triple-header booked for September
Cage Warriors is getting closer to its return. A few weeks ago, the promotion announced that they would be returning in September and now they have made their return dates official.
Cage Warriors 114, 115 and 116 will take place on Sept. 24, 25 and 26 at BEC Arena in Manchester, England for a triple-header of shows.
“We’ve pulled off big events before, but this is something else entirely,” Cage Warriors president Graham Boylan stated in an article posted by MMA Junkie. “(We’ll have) all our biggest names across one weekend. We’re leaving no stone unturned.
“It’s taken a lot of planning, but we’re ready to get back on the road. We’re back to doing what we do best, and that’s showcasing Europe’s best talent and providing the proven pathway to the top.”
While the return dates are official, no fights have been announced at this time. The promotion is planning to have lightweight champion Mason Jones, bantamweight champ Jack Cartwright, flyweight titleholder Samir Faiddine and middleweight champ Nathias Frederick fight on the upcoming cards. Also prospects Paddy Pimblett, Morgan Charriere, Rhys McKee and Adam Proctor are expected to be part of the triple-header.
Cage Warriors is calling their upcoming series “The Trilogy.” The three events will take place without fans in attendance.
The last time Cage Warriors was in action was on March 20 and they haven’t had an event since due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
“The Trilogy” will stream on UFC Fight Pass.
