We at MyMMANews have put in a request for comment and reasoning from the UFC. As of press time the UFC has not commented however once they do we will provide the update.
Speculation has led to new owners WME-IMG cutting down on licensing costs although that has not yet been confirmed as the reason for the Metallica ban.
Esparza takes on Randa Markos this Sunday, February 19 at UFC Fight Night 105 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
