CES MMA 46 Results – Howards vs Carroll
CES MMA is back at the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island, with a brutal night of action on AXS TV!
The main event of the evening features Roger “The Leprechaun” Carroll (16-15) vs. John “Doomsday” Howard (24-13) in the middleweight division. Howard returns to the CES MMA cage after 14 fights with the UFC and this will be Carroll’s first fight in over a year. With Howard’s decorated CES background and Carroll’s history of nine first round finishes, you won’t want to miss this fight!
Two of CES MMA’s best Bantamweights, Branden “Soku” Seyler Sr. (7-5-1) and Dinis “Sweetbread” Paiva (9-6), square off in the featherweight division in the co-main event. Paiva plans to use his boxing to his advantage tonight against Seyler. Seyler is coming off of a big upset win over the previously undefeated Kris Moutinho at CES 45 in August. Both contenders are pushing to maintain their winning streaks and Paiva claims his “hands will do the talking”.
The action started at 9/8c on AXS TV with commentators Kenny Rice, UFC Hall of Famer Pat Miletich and Phoenix Carnevale.
WHAT A FIGHT!!!!
Sharif Jones, coming out of retirement from the sport, put on a boxing clinic against….. a boxer. Jones outboxed Gary Balletto Jr., in a fight that was evenly scored, a round a piece heading into the third round. Jones was eventually opened up with some knees from the clinch before being submitted on the ground in the third and final round. Absolute war.
