CFFC 69 weigh-in results and video – 3 titles to be decided
Cage Fury Fighting Championships will hold CFFC 69 tomorrow night from the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Fighters hit the scales earlier today to make the fights official.
Christmas was supposed to come for mixed martial arts fans as not one, not two, not three, but four titles were to be on the line tomorrow.
But just like on Christmas morning, there is always something that you want to be under the tree, that doesn’t quite find it’s way there. Unfortunately for fight fans, one of the title bouts was scrapped today as as former CFFC heavyweight champion Daniel Spohn was not medically cleared and could not challenge current light heavyweight champ Anton Berzin.
Fortunately however, for those of you not on the naughty list, there are still three amazing title fights on the card.
In the main event, featherweight champion Pat Sabatini makes his first title defense when he meets Shogun Fights champion, Cisco Isata.
Ricky Bandejas puts his CFFC interim bantamweight title on the line against Nick Mamalis.
Recently Alliance MMA, parent company of CFFC, acquired Victory Fighting Championship. Now the VFC flyweight champ, Kevin Gray, will meet the CFFC flyweight champ, Sean “Shorty Rock” Santella.
