Champ vs. Champ Title Fight to Headline GLORY 107
Chico Kwasi steps up to challenge Donovan Wisse at GLORY 107 on April 25 at the RTM Stage in Rotterdam, the Netherlands
GLORY welterweight world champion Chico Kwasi (45-6-2, 23 KO) will step up in weight to challenge GLORY middleweight world champion Donovan Wisse (23-1, 10 KO) in the main event of GLORY 107 on April 25 at the RTM Stage in Rotterdam.
Kwasi replaces Bahram Rajabzadeh, who was recently forced to withdraw due to an injury. Wisse was originally scheduled to square-off against Rajabzadeh for the vacant light heavyweight title but will now instead defend his own belt.
With Wisse dominating the middleweight division since 2023 and Kwasi ruling at welterweight for almost two years, GLORY fans have debated about a potential dream matchup between the pair.
Between them, they have broken the records for most consecutive title defenses at middleweight and welterweight, respectively.
Now they will both finally come face-to-face in what will be one of the highest-level matchups in GLORY history. A win for Kwasi means he puts his name alongside the great Alex Pereira and Robin van Roosmalen as the only fighters to win GLORY world title in two weight divisions.
In the co-main event, giants Tariq ‘Cookie’ Osaro (30-5-1, 17 KO) and Nico ‘Big Sexy’ Horta (26-11, 4 KO) will square off in a highly anticipated rematch. A lot has happened since their first meeting from GLORY 95 where Osaro walked away with a decision victory. Both heavyweights have something to prove.
