Charles Radtke to MMA media – “You guys get these interviews for free. I need to get paid.”
It only took a matter of minutes to “Chuck Buffalo” Charles Radtke (9-3) to generate a win over Gilbert Urbina at UFC Vegas 85 on Saturday night.
Following the victory at the UFC Apex, the 33-year-old fight briefly spoke to media at the post-fight press conference. Radtke made several mentions to needing to receive a performance bonus because he was “broke.”
“With a knockout like that, you know people are going to be talking, wanting to see more of you,” one reporter asked Radtke. “How soon do we get you back in that cage? Is there anybody that you would want to match up with?”
“How much money you got?” Radtke replied. “That’s what it is. You guys get these interviews for free. I need to get paid. Let’s go.”
“Up next is….” Radtke then asked. When no journalists or reporters stepped up, the UFC welterweight responded, “Good,” and walked off.
