Christian Lee wanting to headline a U.S ONE Championship show
Christian Lee defends his lightweight world championship against Ok Rae Yoon in the main event of ONE: Revolution. This goes down on Friday, September 24th at Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Lee is 15-3 overall in his MMA endeavors and has solely plied his trade for ONE Championship for nearly six years now.
The Warrior has back-to-back first-round finishes and Lee is riding a six-fight win streak overall. With a victory here in the ONE Circle, Christian Lee will have bested every individual currently ranked in the top five of the weight category.

The Grand Prix and lineal divisional champion looks to make the third defense of his lineal belt as Lee tests skills with Yoon later on this month.
I spoke with Christian Lee at a recent ONE Championship media day for the Lee family. Excerpts from my interaction with him can be found below.

There’s been some level of dialogue so far about a ONE Championship show transpiring in America.
I’m kind of wondering what would the temperature be for you on performing on a show in America under the ONE banner?
“I would love to be the first person to headline an event when ONE Championship comes to America. I live here in Hawaii. This is my home, you know. So America is where I live. I would love to headline that event and I think that ONE Championship coming to America would be very big. There’s already a very strong following of people that watch every single ONE Championship event. Or watch it on the re-run because you know the time zones are very different.”
“But I think that if there was a ONE Championship event to come here, primetime US show, then it would just build a huge following of fans for ONE Championship here in America. I hope to see more and more shows able to come to America by next year.”
