The UFC continues its COVID-19 comeback with UFC on ESPN 8 tonight, Saturday, May 16.
Heavyweights Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris headline the event at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.
Former strawweight title challenger Claudia Gadelha welcomes Angela Hill in the co-main event. Gadelha is coming off a unanimous decision win against Randa Markos at UFC 239 in July 2019.
The last time Gadelha strung two wins together came in 2017.
Hill is fighting for the third time this year, currently riding a three-fight unbeaten streak. She most recently defeated Loma Lookboonmee via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN+26 in February.
She defeated Hannah Cifers and Ariane Carnelossi during that stretch.

ROUND 1
The two meet in the center and Gadelha misses a leg kick. Hill is staying in the center, trying to keep Gadelha backing up. Gadelha changes levels for a takedown, but quickly gives it up. Hill throws a jab, but Gadelha counters with a left hand and a jab. Gadelha lands a nice inside leg kick as Hill comes in, Gadelha is countering nicely. Gadelha ties up with Hill and presses her against the cage, then Gadelha lands a knee to the body. The two are fighting for position, Gadelha attempting the single-leg takedown. Gadelha lifts and gets the takedown, in side control on the mat. Hill shrimping toward the cage. Hill uses the cage to better her position. Gadelha uses her knee to pass and takes the back as Hill tries to stand up. Gadelha presses Hill against the cage to end the round.

ROUND 2
The pair exchange quickly to start the second round. Hill is using her jab early on this round. Hill misses with a left hook. Gadelha comes forward and misses with punches. Gadelha lands a right hand and is showing a cut above her right eye. Hill clips Gadelha with a right hand, but Hill’s corner instructs her to let Gadelha up. Hill stalking Gadelha. Gadelha shoots in for a takedown, but Hill defends. Hill throws a combination, but Gadelha chances levels and works for a takedown. Gadelha presses Hill against the cage. Hill is able to turn and put Gadelha against the cage. Gadelha is able to work her way out, both women squaring up now. Gadelha counters with a combination as Hill comes inside. She lands a left hand as Hill comes in. Gadelha is finding a rhythm, lands big on Hill twice. Hill works the body with her hands. Hill lands a jab, followed by right hook and a head kick to end the round.

Gadelha and Hill come center for one last time. Both girls trading here and there. Hill lands a solid right hand as Gadleha comes in. Hill is working the jab. Gadelha slips a jab from Hill. Both girls are trading in the third round. Gadelha lands a leg kick, then connects with a right cross. Hill is working her right hand nicely. Gadelha lands nicely as Hill comes in. Hill lands a right hook on Gadelha. Gadelha throws a left hook and lands. With a bloody face, Gadelha counters a jab from Hill with a right hand. Gadelha closes the distance and ties up Hill. Gadelha lands an elbow as they separate, then throws a right hand. Both girls are swinging as the round retires.
