Clay Collard always prepared for chaotic fights, plans epic celebration for PFL Week 2
Through wins and losses Clay Collard has been a man of entertainment. From playing spoiler in both boxing and MMA events to putting himself in the championship fight, Collard has proven he belongs. Although things did not going according to plan in his last fight against AJ McKee in the PFL-Bellator CHAMPS event, Collard is back in a familiar home, the PFL tournament.
A finalist in the 2023 season, Collard will enter the 2024 season with new opponents and even more motivation to represent his promotion, his career, and his fighting style. Someone who always brings the fight to his opponents and looks for a crowd-pleasing event, Clay Collard told the ‘On The Mic‘ podcast that he just wants to showcase banger fights for everyone.
Ahead of his fight against former Bellator MMA champion Patricky Pitbull, Collard spoke about his mindset going into every fight and how he wants to be a crowd pleaser in all of his fights. With pleasing the crowd could come an epic celebration from Collard, who may show his gladiator spirit in his celebration if victorious.

“Some bangers. I’m looking to put on some shows. When it’s all said and done that’s why I do this, to put on a show for the fans. To entertain. I’km hoping that after this one I can pull the whole Gladiator ‘Are you not entertained?’ [celebration] I’m looking to put on bangers every time. I feel like the last fight was kind of a let down, feel like I let the promotion down, I feel like I let my coaches down, feel like I let myself down. I’m ready to who and what I am.”
With an epic celebration on deck and the motivation to right his wrongs from last season, Clay Collard will continue to bring an action-packed style to the PFL season tournament, a tournament he’s incredibly familiar with, and a willingness to sacrifice it all for the gold money can’t buy.
