Colby Covington goes after Jon Jones – “He could beat his wife again, end up in jail”
Here is an unlikely matchup, former UFC welterweight title contender Colby Covington has dug in deep against UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
While the fight will never take place inside the octagon, it very may well spill outside as “Chaos” Covington may have bitten off more than he can chew.
During a recent interview with Submission Radio, Covington questioned Jones taking on former UFC heavyweight champion at UFC 295 at Madison Square Garden. The welterweight contender thinks that he should be challenging Leon Edwards in the main event because “Jones is unreliable.”
“This fight [Covington vs Edwards] needs to go to Madison Square Garden. We all know why. Jon Jones is unreliable. Come on, let’s be honest. The guy could fail his steroid test. He could beat his wife again, end up in jail. He could do all these different things. Wasn’t he the first guy that ever got a whole entire event cancelled for him?”
