Combat Night Pro: Duval Live Results

Combat Night returns to Jacksonville on Saturday night to host Combat Night Pro: Duval at The Scottish Rite.

In the featherweight main event, tenured MMA veteran, Keith Speed (4-5) takes on hometown hero, Reggie Mack (3-2). American Top Team’s, Keith Speed, makes his third walk to Combat Night cage looking to remain unbeaten in the promotion. The Ohio native, now living in South Florida, is a force to be reckoned with in all aspects of a fight. His complete game parlayed with his durability will cause problems for many. In Speed’s last four bouts, he’s gotten his hand raised three times. The 32-year-old has also earned three first round finishes in his four pro wins. He shares the cage with 26-year-old, Reggie Mack this weekend. Mack makes the strut to the combatagon for the 17th time in his pro and amateur career. The former Combat Night amateur featherweight champion has been more than loyal to the promotion as he’s spent the entirety of his pro career with the organization. Mack does his training at Smiley Academy of Martial Arts and Darkwolf MMA. The Jacksonville native brings relentless pressure with his well-rounded game. Overall, this main event will be a chess match between two high level competitors.

Co-headlining the card, former pro boxer, Marcello Williams (0-0), makes his pro MMA debut against, Jiu-Jitsu wizard, Steven Koslow (4-0). This will be quite the clash of styles as the Brazilian stand-up fighter squares off with the quality grappler. Prior to making the decision to make his MMA debut, Williams was finding his mark in the ring as he won two of his last three. The 32-year-old does his training at the notable Fusion X-cel Performance Center with the likes of Mike Perry, Alex Nicholson and head coach, Julien Williams. Despite Williams’ solid striking game, he will have his hands full with Steven Koslow. The Jacksonville native will, without a doubt, get quite an ovation as he makes his 13th walk to the combatagon. Koslow is a former Combat Night amateur flyweight champion and has been a standout since his pro debut. Like Reggie Mack, the 24-year-old has made all his pro appearances with Combat Night. The 10th Planet Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt has won all his pro bouts by first round submission. In fact, he’s won 14 straight bouts and hasn’t lost since his amateur debut in 2015. Ironically, he also does his training at Fusion X-cel as the gym considers them both part of the Fusion Family. This will be an interesting one as the clash of styles co-headlines a stacked fight card.

Some other notable names on the card consist of Undefeated welterweight, Trey Waters (4-0), Six-time Combat Night veteran, Chris Daniels (6-2-1) and wife of UFC veteran and former BKFC lightweight title challenger Jim Alers, Melissa Alers (0-0).
