The dominant wrestling game of Phogat was largely nullified by Stamp with the former ONE Muay Thai and ONE Kickboxing Atomweight world champion showcasing her ever-improving grappling game.
Stamp Fairtex locked in the armbar victory in the second stanza of their December 3rd clash inside Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Ritu Phogat fell to 7-2 in her overall mixed martial arts career. This snapped a three-fight winning streak that the wrestling powerhouse had put together.
Stamp’s overall MMA record improves to 8-1 and she is now presently riding a three-fight winning streak.
ONE: Winter Warriors played host to this high stakes Atomweight bout with Stamp not only winning a gorgeous GP belt. But also punching her ticket to a future crack at the divisional world champion Angela Lee as Unstoppable prepares to return in 2022.
Stamp Fairtex’s path to the tournament finals saw her best Alyona Rassohyna in the quarter-finals and Julie Mezabarba in the semi-finals.
Ritu Phogat’s road through the ONE Atomweight Grand Prix involved compiling wins over Meng Bo in the quarter-finals and Jenelyn Olsim in the semi-finals.
