Conor McGregor injured, UFC 303 gets new main event
UFC 303 officially has a new main event after it was announced by UFC CEO Dana White that Conor McGregor is injured and out of his headlining bout against Michael Chandler.
With Conor McGregor injured, UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira will defend his belt for the second time in as many months as he takes on Jiří Procházka on June 29.
Pereira, who defended his 205-pound title against Jamahal Hill in UFC 300’s main event, makes the quick turnaround against a former champion Jiri Procházka in a rematch.
