Conor McGregor on UFC 303 press conference cancellation – “I apologize to my Irish fans, and fans around the world”
Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor has released his first statement since the UFC announced that today’s UFC 303 press conference in Dublin, Ireland would be cancelled.
“In consultation with the UFC, today’s press conference was cancelled due to a series of obstacles outside of our control,” McGregor wrote on X. “I apologize to my Irish fans, and fans around the world, for the inconvenience and appreciate all your passion and support. I can’t wait to put on the greatest all-time show in the Octagon.”

The UFC promotion released a statement about the presser cancellation via social media but did not provide a reason for the move.

UFC 303 takes place June 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and is to be headlined by McGregor as he returns to the octagon for the first time in three years to meet Michael Chandler.
No word on if the event or fight will still take place.
