Conor McGregor, Michael Chandler

Conor McGregor says he is fighting Michael Chandler on UFC White House card

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor says that he will face Michael Chandler on the upcoming UFC White House card in 2026.

“The Mac is excited to get back for sure. I’m on [the White House card],” McGregor said in an interview on Fox & Friends. “This is me.

“[I’m fighting] Michael Chandler. Michael Chandler and myself have done the show The Ultimate Fighter, we’ve had a good back and forth. He’s a good, tough guy.”

McGregor and Chandler, who coached opposite one another on the Ultimate Fighter, were supposed to fight last year but the former featherweight and lightweight champion had to pull out due to injury.

Now with arguably the biggest event in UFC history in front of them, it appears that UFC CEO Dana White is placing all his chips on McGregor for the main event.

McGregor hasn’t fought since suffering a broken leg in his trilogy against Dustin Poirier in July 2021.

Chandler, who recently recorded three consecutive losses, has not seen a win inside the octagon since May 2022.
