Corey Anderson full Bellator 257 post-fight press conference
Corey Anderson has advanced to the semifinals of the Bellator light heavyweight grand prix.
On Friday night at Bellator 257, Anderson (15-5) fought Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov (18-6-1) in the co-main event of what was a scheduled five-round contest in the quarterfinals of the grand prix.
Anderson didn’t need the five rounds. After nearly finishing Yagshimuradov in the second round with ground-and-pound, Anderson finished things off in the third round. Anderson got a quick takedown in the third round and this time when he started throwing down strikes while win on top of Yagshimuradov, there was plenty of time on the clock and Yagshimuradov could not escape.
