Cris Cyborg collecting teddy bears for children in Las Vegas hospital, deliver after UFC 219 title fight
Reigning UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg will defend her title against Holly Holm in the main event at UFC 219, December 30.
Although she is the baddest woman on the planet, Cyborg has a heart, and a soft spot for kids. The UFC champion has started a campaign to collect teddy bears for sick children. The bears will be delivered to the Las Vegas Children’s Sunshine Hospital, the day following her fight.
“Are you planning to attend #ufc219?” Cyborg wrote. “I am asking all of my fans coming to #Vegas for New Years to also bring a NEW teddy bear to donate for the children stuck in the Las Vegas Children’s Sunshine Hospital during the holidays! To drop off your New Teddy Bear donations please visit the @mmajunkieradio studio located in the Mandalay Bay Sports Book Dec 28th and 29th from 8am-1pm. All bears collected will be delivered to the hospital by my team and me following the fight.”
