Presenting their seventh show in under an impressive year into the business, Freedom Fighter Promotions has hosted their show in 3 different states thus far, with plans to go international next month, as well as next year.
In the main event of the evening, Muay Thai legend and American Lethwei superstar, Cyrus “Black Dynamite” Washington returns to the very venue in which he captured Freedom light heavyweight gold. This time, he’ll be facing Frances finest and multiple time WPMF champion, Adrien Rubis to defend his Freedom light heavyweight strap.
Washington will have the pleasure to welcome Rubis to the United States for what will be his debut in the US in this championship matchup made for the fans!
“I never have expectations,” says Washington about the upcoming bout. “The last guy came out, guns blazing…I didn’t expect that. And I don’t have any expectations for this fight. I know this guy hasn’t fought in a while. He probably wants to prove himself. Prove some things to himself. So, he might come out doing the same thing but no matter what he does I’m prepared for it, it’s no problem,” Washington assures.
“There’s nothing he can do that hasn’t already been done. There isn’t anything he can show me that I haven’t seen, you know what I’m saying?”
