Dan Hardy teases possible ONE Championship return bouts
Dan Hardy is targeting multiple combat disciplines for his return stretch to competition.
Hardy is medically cleared to return and discussed that in the context of fighting for ONE Championship.
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Hardy stated, “I was at my cardiologist’s this morning. Because I’ve been in conversation with ONE Championship about getting matched. They wanted a fresh set of cardiology results. So I’ve got clearance to fight there as well. I’m sending that over to them later today. I did the exams this morning and everything is on its way in emails. But I’m 100 percent cleared to fight under any ruleset.”
A boxing match with Tyron Woodley is purportedly in the works too. The two have exchanged some back and forth barbs on social media subsequent to Woodley’s boxing bout against Jake Paul.
.@danhardymma reveals he signed a contract to box Tyron Woodley in the UK in March and now waits for “The Frozen One” to sign:

The former UFC welterweight championship contender is also quite keen on Muay Thai with 4oz gloves. Bouts with John Wayne Parr and Nieky Holzken were specifically mentioned as intriguing ones for The Outlaw.
Dan Hardy
Dan Hardy announced his fighter free agency and the end of his UFC contract this Spring. Many theorized he would be doing something with ONE Championship eventually.
Even amid talk of all of these different combat disciplines, the veteran mixed martial artist is still eyeballing opportunities within MMA. Names like Eddie Alvarez and Shinya Aoki previously came up from Dan Hardy as potentially intriguing opposition for him.
The Cage Warriors stalwart crossed over to the UFC where he accrued a four-fight winning streak under that promotional banner. Leading into that aforementioned world title shot against Georges St Pierre at UFC 111.
Hardy last competed at UFC on Fuel TV 5 in September 2012. He bested Amir Sadollah via unanimous decision.
Transitioning from the Octagon to the ONE Circle after almost a decade of dormancy, the options seem bountiful for Hardy at this point. Both in an analyst as well as a combatant capacity.
What are your thoughts on Dan Hardy teasing a ONE Championship foray into the Circle?
