Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series – Season 2 Week 2 Results – 4 fighters earn contracts
Four fighters walked away with UFC contracts in hand following the second week of season 2 of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, June 19. The event which pairs up and coming fighters up against one another in hopes of earning a shot in the UFC is filmed at the Ultimate Fighter Gym in Las Vegas, Nevada and airs on UFC Fight Pass.
Matt Sayles, Anthony Hernandez, Ryan Spann and Dwight Grant all earned UFC contract with their spectacular fight ending finishes.
In the main event, Sayles (7-1) made short work of previously undefeated featherweight Yazan Hajeh (6-1). He trains under former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz at Alliance MMA in Southern California.
Also, Anthony Hernandez (7-0) made a lasting impression on UFC President Dana White with a 40-second knockout win of Jordan Wright.
