Davion Franklin folds Everett Cummings in under a minute at Bellator 264
In the main event of Bellator 264; Gegard Mousasi looks to add another title defense when he takes on number one contender John Salter.
Mousasi, 36, is making his first appearance of 2021, his last outing saw the Netherlands native pick up a decision win over former welterweight champion Douglas Lima in October 2020. His next test Salter, is currently on a three fight win streak, and an 8-1 record under the Bellator banner and only one of those victories reaching the final bell.
Before we get to the main event, in this highlighted recap Davion Franklin (3-0) will look to remain undefeated when he takes on Everett Cummings (15-0) in the main card of Bellator 264.
Franklin is undefeated in his professional career and is coming off of three-straight dominant performances in Bellator that has included two vicious knockouts of Tyler King and J.W. Kiser in the cage.
Cummings; a veteran of MMA who has been in and out of Bellator over his 15-fight career. Also like Franklin, Cummings heads into the bout undefeated with every single one of his victories coming by either knockout or submission.

ROUND 1:
Dan M is the third man in the cage, the bell goes. Cummings immediately attacks the leg of Franklin. Franklin circling the cage, cutting of Cummings. Franklin is using a lot of feints. Franklin lands a oblique kick, follows it up with a kick to the shoulder, Franklin wastes no time and fires a right hand while Cummings is against the cage. Franklin hurt Cummings bad with that big right hand, Cummings folds to the canvas, Franklin follows up with some shots and gets the stoppage win in less then thirty seconds.
