Edwards vs Pawlak set for Glasgow
Edwards, who holds a record of 9-2-0, currently fights out of Birmingham, England. The 23-year-old will be hoping that fans all over England will make the short trip to Glasgow to show their support for him on the night.
“Hopefully I’ll get a good reception fighting on home soil – hopefully I’ll get some cheers this time!” said Edwards. “I’ve watched his [Pawlak’s] fights and he looks like he’s a good fighter. But from what I’ve seen, I can see me finishing him – I’ll get the finish in the second round or maybe at the end of the first”.
Pawlak, meanwhile, comes into the fight on the back of a win by unanimous decision over Sheldon Westcott, a victory which brought Pawlak’s professional record to 11-1-0. The Polish talent will be looking to continue his recent success when he arrives in the Scottish capital.
