Emily Ducote discusses her upcoming title fight at Invicta FC 44

Emily Ducote knows a thing or two about fighting for a championship.

During her stint in the Bellator, Ducote fought for the inaugural Bellator flyweight championship back in 2017 at Bellator 186 against Ilima-Lei Macfarlane. Then two years later at Invicta FC 38, Ducote fought for the Invicta FC strawweight title.

While Ducote suffered defeats in both of championship opportunities, she learned a lot from the those experiences and now she is once again knocking on the door of claiming a title.

On Aug. 27 at Invicta FC 44, Ducote will met Danielle Taylor in the main for the vacant strawweight title in a fought between two experiences fighters has both have over 15 professional bouts including a number of fights in big promotions.

Prior to the fight, Ducote spoke to MyMMANews about her upcoming title bout and being able to compete at her natural weight class. You can watch her full interview in the video above.
