Karate Combat 41: Karate In Paradise
Karate Combat 41 will make its debut in the Dominican Republic at the amphitheater in La Romana. It is a Roman style theater and the pit will feature some of the best karateka in the world as Karate Combat consistently delivers.
The main event is a slug fest. Eoghan Chelmia has had an undefeated run in Karate Combat with a perfect 5-0 record. He captured the belt last year against Ilies Mardhi when Mardhi had a shoulder injury in round four. His first defense was in December when he took on Jesus Lopez. That fight went down to the wire and Chelmia earned the split decision victory.
His opponent, Myrza-Bek Tebuev, is a Russian Shinto-Ryu fighter. He has a 4-2 record with the promotion and finally earned his way to a title shot. His only two losses come against Luiz Rocha and Edgars Skrivers, two of the promotion’s best. That was at featherweight. Now Tebuev looks to get a second shot at gold after wins over Daniel Viveros, Teeik Silva, and more.
Stay tuned for more fights announced for Karate Combat 41. The promotion is consistently putting out good and entertaining fights for the fans and they’re all free on their YouTube channel. The event in La Romana will take place on September 16th and there will be absolute fireworks at the La Romana amphitheater.
