Ethan Goss vs. Andrew Salas set for Bellator 186 at Penn State University
It’s a clash between New Jersey and Pennsylvania on the undercard at Bellator 186 in Penn State, November 3 when Ethan Goss (4-3) will meet Andrew Salas (3-1) at the Bryce Jordan Center on the University’s campus.
Coming off a first-round submission win over Dustin Kempf at Caged Madness 48 in May, Goss will now enter the biggest fight of his professional mixed martial arts career.
In the summer of 2016 Goss faced off against Jordan Morales for the World Cagefighting Championship featherweight strap, falling short on the judges’ scorecards, but picking up fans along the way after a hard fought battle.
Salas out of New Jersey is coming off back-to-back wins over Daniel Carbonel at Dead Serious Pro 1, and Dominick Biondo at Ring of Combat 59.
Prior to the two wins this year, the last time Salas stepped into a cage professionally was in January 2016 when he suffered a first round knockout loss to Eric Mendiola at CFFC 55.
In the main event of Bellator 186, newly crowned light heavyweight champion Ryan “Darth” Bader (23-5) will make his first title defense against British sensation Linton “The Swarm” Vassell (18-5, 1 NC).
A variety of other regional mixed martial artists will come together at Penn State at Xtreme Caged Combat President, Ryan Kerwin helps build the undercard for Bellator 186.
