Fighter proposes to Roxanne Modafferi after being hit with illegal knee
UFC flyweight Roxanne Modafferi is off the market fellas!
“The Happy Warrior” Modafferi was in Miami, Florida tonight to corner her boyfriend and training partner, Chris Roman who was competing on the Titan FC 73 fight card.
Roman, who entered the contest with a professional mixed martial arts record of 3-3 took on Asa Ten Pow who is a standout boxer in the American Muay Thai scene.
The bout did not last long as the action was halted after Roman, who was on his knees at the time, was hit in the head with an illegal knee by his opponent. Roman collapsed face first onto the canvas and it appeared that the fight would be ruled a disqualification.
Moments later, Roman came to, stood up, and proposed to Modafferi. These things happen in MMA folks!

Modafferi, considered one of the pioneers of women’s mixed martial arts, will compete in her final fight on February 12, 2022 when she takes on Casey O’Neill at UFC 271. Modafferi’s pro MMA record currently stands at 25-19 after taking her first fight in 2003.
