Floyd Mayweather’s ex-girlfriend found dead
Josie Harris, the mother of three of Floyd Mayweather’s kids, was found dead just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday evening in a Southern California suburb. She was 40.
According to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Harris was pronounced dead by firefighters when they found her inside a vehicle parked in the driveway of her residence just outside of Santa Clarita.
CBS Los Angeles reported that as of right now detectives haven’t confirmed the case of death, but a homicide investigation is underway.
Mayweather went to Instagram this evening to pay tribute to his former girlfriend, posting several photos of her.
Harris and Mayweather have been separated for a number of years. In 2010, Harris alleged that Mayweather attacked her in Las Vegas. Mayweather pleaded guilty to a reduced misdemeanor charge the following year and served two months in prison.
