Former Cage Warriors welterweight champion Ross Houston signs with Bellator

Ross Houston to Bellator MMA

Bellator MMA continues to add great up and coming talent. Today the promotion announced their most recent signing, former Cage Warriors welterweight champion Ross Houston.

Bellator’s European head, David Green, made the announcement of the signing earlier today at Bellator Europe 7 media day.

Houston (8-0, 1 NC) won the Cage Warriors welterweight title in October of 2018. His last outing came at Cage Warriors 106 in July, in which he fought Nicholas Dalby. Their fight ended in a no contest due to excessive blood on the canvas.

The bloody war between Houston and Dalby marked Houston’s last fight with Cage Warriors as Houston parted ways with the promotion in order to fight internationally.

Houston’s management team told MMA Junkie that they are trying to get Houston to make his Bellator debut on one of the promotions international shows.
