Francis Ngannou reportedly making $10M for Tyson Fury fight
Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou will make $10M for this weekend’s boxing bout against Tyson Fury according to a report from the Mirror.
“Everyone said he was an idiot for walking away from the UFC and now all of a sudden he’s a genius, isn’t he?” Fury said. “Guy’s about to make $10 million. Come on! Egg in their face! Francis is going to make that bag. Rich!”
The WBC heavyweight champion Fury faces the MMA superstar in a controversial crossover clash in Saudi Arabia on October 28.
Fury himself is expected to pocket the biggest purse of his professional career when he meets Ngannou as it is estimated that he will take home approximately $50M. This does not factor in sponsorships or endorsements.
