Frans Mlambo brings a wealth of high-quality experience to the Polish FEN stage. Rather impressive in Bellator, Mlambo went 3-1 before being cut just recently from the organization. “I feel my experience and my much-improved skill set gives me the advantage,” Mlambo told MyMMANews. Mlambo has also appeared under the Brave CF banner six times, even appearing on the very first Brave card, Brave CF 1: The Beginning.
The SBG Ireland prospect is currently 9-5 in his young career coming off of a win most recently against Cory Tait at Bellator Euro Series 8 in September 2020. His first Bellator win came against former Cage Warriors champion Nathan Greyson by second-round submission. The “Black Panther” Dominique Wooding fell victim next to the “Black Mamba” Mlambo in his second Bellator bout in September 2019. His lone Bellator blemish came in his third bout against rising star Ricky Bandejas.
New Country to Conquer
Poland is becoming an absolute hotbed for MMA in Europe. Not only is FEN growing, but fellow organizations KSW, Fame MMA, and Babilon MMA are putting on excellent shows one after another. Obviously, with KSW leading the way, the signing of Mlambo can help move FEN into that #2 spot. By with did “The Zulu Irishman” sign in the land of the Poles? “I’m looking to make a big statement straight away!” stated Mlambo. With gold on his mind, this could be the opportunity Mlambo needs to vault himself back into the likes of the Bellators and UFCs. No matter where Mlambo goes, he is sure to put on a world-class show.
FEN 34 will feature a bantamweight title clash between Jonas Magard and Taylor Lapilus. The winner is very likely to face Mlambo sometime this year. To catch the event, visit the FEN website here when it becomes closer to fight night.
