Fury FC 54’s Anthony Romero believes he’s a “new fighter” since first career loss

Interview with Anthony Romero above

Anthony Romero (9-1) discusses his lightweight fight against Nico Echeverry (11-4) at Fury FC 54 on Nov. 21. Anthony also talks about losing his last fight by split decision, getting to train in Las Vegas at Syndicate MMA and why he’s a different fighter in the gym ahead of this matchup.

“You learn a lot from your losses. I learned a lot from that fight. I know I can put myself through the fire. Before I was a bit more conservative, laid back, making second-guessed decisions. Even in the gym my coach has been saying I look like a different fighter, a new fighter. Not holding positions for too long. Saving energy and all that stuff.”
