Fury FC 56’s Bassil Hafez On Anthony Ivy Matchup, Battling Injury’s & UFC Aspirations
Interview with Bassil Hafez above
Bassil Hafez (6-3-1) discusses his welterweight fight against Anthony Ivy (8-5) at Fury FC 56 on Feb. 6. Bassil also explains why he hast fought since April of last year, losing to Evan Cutts with an injured rib and his goals for the rest of this year.
“My goal is to get to get signed by UFC or get to a large promotion and make enough money to stop worrying about bills in between fights. It’s my goal, my dream. Nothing’s changed in terms of my skill level and my ability. I’m improving as an overall MMA fighter. This fight will be a great statement for that and hopefully I’ll get signed to the UFC this year.”
Congratulations Bassil Hafez
Hafez, who just celebrated his 30th birthday, was recently promoted to first-degree black belt under Ricardo Migliarese at Balance Studios, just days prior to the pending fight. Well deserved.
