“Everything I do, I do for my country. Representing the UAE [United Arab Emirates] means everything to me and to have the opportunity to do it with the PFL is extremely important and a big opportunity. To have the PFL here and giving us fighters in the Middle East to represent our countries and show who is the best from the Middle East, it’s a big moment for us, it’s a big moment for MMA.”

His opponent, Ziad Ayman Mokhtar is also making his PFL MENA debut, with a 5-1 record to his name, and with 3 submissions in five wins for each fighters, this matchup could be a grappler’s delight.

The PFL MENA league is one of a kind, it not only serves as another branch of the Professional Fighters’ League worldwide focus to find talent, but it is one-of-a-kind in the bringing the very best fighters from the Middle East to the biggest stage of their career, and the opportunities are endless. To go through and represent their respective countries and regions, fighters also have the opportunity to win a PFL MENA title, $100,000 grand prize, and a chance to claim their spot on the PFL Global roster in the future.

As for Hadi Omar Al Hussaini, this won’t just be for his career and for himself. He aims to put on the best show possible to represent his coach Javier Mendez and AKA gym as well as the UAE.
