Hawaii’s Newest Martial Arts Promotion Makes its Debut Halloween Weekendhawaii

HONOLULU, HAWAII (October 21, 2015) -Trinity Sport Combat is the latest martial arts event promotion on the island of Oahu. Combining professionals, amateurs and kids, Trinity SC will kick off their first show on Friday, October 30 at iTrampoline in Kapolei. This is a fresh new venue for the Hawaii martial arts scene.

Along with championship titles and awards, Trinity SC will also be establishing a district ranking system for all islands, so fighters will also be competing to establish their place in the ranks.

Trinity Sport Combat is focusing on triple threat matches which include one round of kickboxing, one of boxing with takedowns and one round of grappling.

“We have partnered with Destiny MMA and Pancrase Japan/Hawaii to bring action packed matches for all levels of sport combat,” said Bob Ostovich, Trinity SC Promoter. “Our triple threat league will have district champions to include outer islands. Those champions will battle other district champions to find the best two in their divisions and compete for the state title later next year.”

The man event of the night is a flyweight match up between Ian De La Cuesta (8-6-0) and Tyson Nam (13-8-0). Both fighters are coming off wins earlier this year.  Semi-main events include Ryan Delacruz vs Jordan Mackin and Martin Day vs Jeff Oher.
