Heath Herring returns to competition for the first time since UFC 87 in 2008 where he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Brock Lesnar.
After eight years away from the sport, tHerring ended his retirement and signed with the Japanese promotion Rizin Fighting Federation.
Herring (28-14) will fight Amir Aliakbari (3-0) in a quarterfinal-round matchup at the upcoming Rizin FF 3 event. While perhaps best known for competing in PRIDE, he has also formerly competed for the UFC and K-1.
But first….. he needed a little help with his hair so UFC heavyweight Roy Nelson decided to help him out.
