Heather Hardy to make bare knuckle fighting debut against Christine Ferea
Add another sport to the resume of one Heather Hardy. “The Heat” Hardy will make her bare knuckle fighting debut in a championship bout against Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship star Christine Ferea later this year. BKFC President David Feldman made the announcement on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani on Wednesday.
The 42-year-old Hardy is a former multi-division women’s boxing champion and also competed in professional mixed martial arts under the Bellator MMA banner.
Ferea is the BKFC women’s flyweight champion and arguably the best female fighter to compete in the sport.
The proposed card is to take place at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, the promotion’s first card in the state.
David Feldman also revealed on #themmahour that BKFC will hold a show at Mohegan Sun on May 11 feat. Christine Ferea vs. Heather Hardy, Jimmie Rivera, Guillermo Rigondeaux, and more. https://t.co/1SlAoW6QIM
