Heavy Hitters Thai Boxing by Michael Rakay joins rich tradition in Philadelphia
Philadelphia, the ‘City of Brotherly Love,’ has gained another quality mixed martial arts training facility with Michael Rakay’s Heavy Hitters Thai Boxing. Rakay who has numerous kickboxing and Muay-Thai fights on his résumé, wanted to branch out on his own and build something for his family. With the beautiful, spacious gym on N. 5th Street in Philly, that family will undoubtedly grow.

I stopped into the grand opening at Heavy Hitters Thai Boxing and was impressed with the entire facility as it includes brand new showers and restrooms and a coziness that will surely make the members happy. Rakay plans on adding more and more classes and has several fighters already lined up looking for fights. They will also cater to the everyday people as well as women and children. Definitely stop in for a free class. You won’t regret it.
