#ThrowbackThursday – One year ago today, all hell breaks loose in Las Vegas at UFC 202 pre-fight presser
Exactly one year ago today, Aug. 17, 2016, all hell breaks loose at the UFC 202 pre-fight press conference in Las Vegas. Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor were promoting their upcoming rematch when Diaz walked out of the room. From there water bottles and Monster Energy drinks were thrown, fighters were fined, and it was uncertain if one of the biggest fights in UFC history would actually take place.

The fight did go on as scheduled and was not only successful in numbers but it was one of the best fights in UFC history. McGregor ended up winning the fight via a decision, five months after their first fight in which he was submitted. McGregor will take on Floyd Mayweather Jr., next week in Las Vegas in a boxing match that is expected to be the biggest fight in combat sports history.
