Henry Corrales predicts ‘exciting, high level’ fight with Juan Archuleta at Bellator 238
Bellator MMA kicks off their 2020 calendar year going head-to-head with the UFC on Saturday night and many people believe that the former is bringing the better top-to-bottom card into another weekend of face punching.
One of the reasons Bellator 238 seems to be the popular choice amongst fans is the recent addition of a featherweight bout between Henry Corrales and Juan Archuleta, which emanates from The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
Bellator 238 will be headlined by a women’s featherweight title fight between Julia Budd and the debuting Cris Cyborg.
Corrales joined MyMMANews.com recently to discuss the upcoming matchup with Archuleta. “OK” reveals that the fight had been signed, sealed and delivered for several weeks prior to the official announcement, talks what he took away from his recent featherweight grand prix matchup with Darrion Caldwell, being impressed with Archuleta and what his opponent has accomplished thus far in his career, seeing the excitement from the fans in regards to the fight, not thinking about getting back in the tournament as an alternate, the CSAC, thoughts on the current run of AJ McKee and more.
In addition, Corrales gives his take on what he expects when he faces the former featherweight title challenger on Saturday night.
“I see a tough fight,” Corrales told MyMMANews.com. “I’m ready to bring it to this guy. I’m pretty pumped about this one.
“I’m pretty grateful that I’m fighting another high-quality opponent; big name, big card. I’ve seen a couple of comments about the fight, my teammates are pretty excited about it, my friends are excited. This should be pretty fun.”
