Inside MMA to air last episode on September 30
One of the most informative and longest running mixed marital arts television news shows will officially come to an end at the end of the month.
Inside MMA on AXS TV will air its final episode on September 30.
The show which will have filmed 433 shows when the final episode is aired.
Hosted by Mauro Ranallo and UFC Hall of Famer Bas Rutten, the show provides an in-depth look at the world of MMA, with live breakdowns, talk, highlights, and analysis from major MMA organizations such as the UFC, Bellator, and the World Series of Fighting. Inside MMA debuted on AXS TV, then known as HDNet, in September 2007, and is currently the longest-running MMA news show on television.
The cancellation comes with yesterday’s news of the partnership between Legacy Fighting Championships and Resurrection Fighting Alliance, forming Legacy Fighting Alliance. AXS TV will now focus on more LIVE mixed martial arts broadcasts.
Kenny Rice played long-time host along with Rutten before leaving the show earlier this year. Also, correspondent Ron Kruck occasionally filled in as anchor.
