Is UFC 303 in jeopardy? Press conference in Dublin postponed

This could either be a sign of something to come much ado about nothing, but the UFC 303 press conference scheduled to take place in Dublin, Ireland today has been postponed.

UFC 303 takes place June 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and is to be headlined by former two-division champion Conor McGregor as he returns to the octagon for the first time in three years to meet Michael Chandler.

The UFC promotion released a statement about the presser cancellation via social media but did not provide a reason for the move.

Dear UFC Fans —

The UFC 303 press conference scheduled for Monday June 3rd in Dublin, Ireland at 3Arena has been postponed until further notice. We sincerely apologize to all the fans who were planning to attend. When we have further information on a new date and time, we will share it immediately. – Thank you.

McGregor, 35, has not fought since suffering a broken leg in his July 2021 loss to Dustin Poirier. Since then, the former champion’s popularity has continued to rise as has his stock as he has involved in the whiskey and beer business as well as starring in films such as ‘Roadhouse.’

Neither McGregor nor Chandler have commented on the postponement.
